Expedition Stowe was created by Greg Speer of The Inn at Turner Mill and Bruce Bell of The Mountain Sports and Bike Shop.  Both long time alpine skiers, Greg and Bruce also enjoy climbing, skiing and snowshoeing in the Stowe area and look forward to exciting you and sharing their knowledge of Stowe's True Mountain Adventure.

While Stowe has long been known as the "Ski Capital of the East" for its deep history in alpine skiing, Stowe boasts some of the best cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice climbing anywhere.  With four cross country ski touring centers creating the largest interconnecting groomed trail network in the East, unlimited back country skiing and snowshoeing and world class ice climbing in Smuggler's Notch, the Stowe valley offers more True Winter Mountain Adventure than anywhere else in the U.S..  No matter what the weather, your ability, risk level or income, "Winter Mountain Adventure" can be enjoyed anytime by anyone in Stowe.
