Winter/Spring at Turner Mill

The Inn at Turner Mill has the perfect location for
enjoying all that the mountains of Vermont have to offer.  We are the closest privately owned accommodation to the ski lifts and cross-country center of the Stowe Mountain Resort.

We specialize in cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and iceclimbing.  Cross-country skiers will find the largest interconnecting, groomed trail network in the East (175+km.).  For backcountry skiers and snowshoers, the Inn offers direct access to the historic Ranch Valley, birthplace of the first ski trail ever cut in the East.  Ask about using a couple pair of our Tubbs snowshoes - free of charge for our guests!  Ice climbers will find pitches in Smuggler's Notch some of the most challenging waterfall ice in the world.  Ski or ride from the top of the quad to our back door!

Stowe's winter activities don't end there.  You can also enjoy outstanding restaurants and shops, Winter Carnival, ice skating at Jackson Arena, horseback riding, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, movies and nightlife.  Nowhere in New England can you find such a complete winter experience as in Stowe.
