Secluded on 9 wooded acres just off the upper Mountain Road, The Inn at Turner Mill is home to Greg and Mitzi Speer and family.  Built in 1936 with lots of stone and wood, you'll experience the Stowe of yesteryear.  The Inn offers comfortable 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom accomodations with such amenities as living rooms, fireplaces, private baths and kitchens.  Rooms also feature rustic log beds and other furniture hand crafted here at the Inn.  The Inn has several pair of Tubb's Snowshoes for our guests to use, free of charge.  Otto will greet you upon your arrival and be the first to welcome you home at the end of your adventurous day.

The Inn at Turner Mill has the perfect location for enjoying all that the mountains of Vermont have to offer.  We are the closest privately owned accomodation to the ski lifts and cross-country center of Stowe Mountain Resort.  But the winter adventure doesn't stop there.

The Inn at Turner Mill specializes in cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice climbing.  Cross country skiers will find the largest interconnecting, groomed trail network in the East (175+ km.).  For back country skiers and snowshoers, the Inn offers direct access to the historic Ranch Valley, birthplace of the first ski trail ever cut in the East.  Ice climbers will find pitches in Smugglers Notch some of the most challenging waterfall ice in the world.  Whatever your pleasure, come join us in the heart of the Green Mountains for some true mountain adventures.

Stowe's winter activities don't end there.  You can also enjoy outstanding restaurants and shops, our Winter Carnival, Jackson Ice Arene, horseback riding, snowmobiling, movies and night life.  Nowhere else in New England can you find such a complete winter vacation package as in Stowe.

Being a family of four and winter sports enthusiasts, we understand how challenging it can be to organize a winter vacation.  From downhill to cross country, sleigh rides to snowshoeing, the Stowe Valley offers a complete winter vacation experience.  We are happy to share our knowledge and experience in all these activities and ensure that you have an enjoyable and successful vacation in Stowe.
